While on vacation in Hawaii last week, I had an opportunity to photograph the fire dancers at the Drums of the Pacific Luau at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Ka'anapali, Maui.  I love photographing scenes that are uniquely lit, and fire creates a very dynamic and dramatic effect.

These images were shot using a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM lens at ISO 1600 from about 100 feet away.  Shutter speeds varied depending on how much I wanted to freeze the moment vs. creating a sense of energy and motion.
